The University hosts the presentation of the monographic issue of "Razón y fe" (Reason and Faith) devoted to Ecology
"The Encyclical by the Pope analyzes, in a relentless manner, each of the facets of life from an ecological perspective". This was the conclusion of Pedro Linares, Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs at Comillas, during the meeting "An Ecological Encyclical?", held at the University, on the occasion of the presentation of the latest monographic issue of "Razón y fe" (Reason and Faith), devoted to Ecology. Linares stated, moreover, that the great messages of the Laudato si' ("Praise be to you, my Lord", the Pope´s latest encyclical) are that knowledge is not neutral and that everything is related. "At Comillas we have been defending that what is important is not so much that which is known, but rather under what value system it is questioned". With regard to the latter, we have been aware for some time of the need for an inter-disciplinary approach to knowledge", pointed out the Vice-Rector.
