ATRIO DE LOS GENTILES COMILLAS 2018 WEBFor yet another year, the Universidad Pontificia Comillas hosted the “Atrium of the Gentiles”, a forum for meeting and dialogue, which this year revolved around "Education, Social Responsibility and the Fourth Industrial Revolution." During the event, such issues as artificial intelligence and robotics were discussed, which are subjects that not only need reflection in terms of technology, but also in the moral and ethical realm.

According to Bernardo Villazán, Co-Director of the Chair for Connected Industry at Comillas ICAI (CIC), who was in charge of opening the “Atrium of the Gentiles” with his lecture, "in Spain there are some 40,000 industrial robots", but this “does not mean that they are a threat to employment".
